Comment: I'm trying to so a clean install of windowsxp pro. but every time I try to but the pc with or without the xp-CD, I first get a blank black screen telling me to press any key, & when I do, I get the following, "NTLDR missing", press ctrl +alt + del to re-start your computer. when I do, I keep getting the same thing over N over. any suggestions.? thanks, Maxx

Reply: (edit)Go into the BIOS to set the CD ROM as the first boot device and once saved exit BIOS. Insert the XP CD and it should then work better. HTH Bryan
