I just installed some memory on my comp, I had 128 and I installed 256...I've istalled memory plenty of times before...I ordered the memory from best buy...PC133...matches perfect with mobo memory...made sure nothing shocked the memory or mobo...it's in it's slot snuggley...and when I start Windows XP Pro...it ask for a disk scan and I skip it...and when the log on screen pops up Windows restarts...and it does this again...so I let the scan disk run and it did something different from a normal scan disk...then after that it restarted a couple of times and now when I start the computer it says "NTLDR is missing press any key to restart" and when I press any key it repeats the message. Any and all help is appreciated... Lance

That error message is usually caused by a cloned OS from one drive to another. Read this link: http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=314057 I have no idea why you're getting this message from just installing RAM - unless you did the clone too.... peac
