I'm really not good with computers and don't know how bypass this. Please help. I really need to just repair this problem without deleting everything on my computer. HELP!

If there is a password set and you don't know it there are linux boot disks you can use to reset or crack the password. Resetting the password is a snap, recovering it can take a while.

You don't need to enter the Administrator password to do a Windows Repair.
Boot to the Dell Reinstallation CD, select the option to setup Windows XP, then select the R to repair the Windows install. Don't select R from the initial screen, as that starts the Recovery Console
