I have ASUS K8V SE Deluxe Mobo. Threw this PC together. Don't have the disk that came w/mobo.
When I power PC up, get a message saying Scanning for IDE...
No Device Drive found
NTLDR is missing
Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to restart

Some insight appreciated, Thanks.

When you threw the PC together did that include a harddrive with an operating system already installed? If so then that is your main problem. You have two ways forward and both require your XP instal CD.
The first is to do a repair instal, The second is a format and clean instal. My recommendation is the latter.

I used to have a signature but it disappeared and I just couldn't be bothered writing another so please feel free to ingore this.
