I have Windows XP Professional installed in 2 diferent disks (one is 18G and the other is 13G), in one disk I have a FAT32 (DRIVE C) and in the other disk I have NTFS(DRIVE D) and everything is working fine in both disks. Now here is the problem, I can view, modify and delete files that are in the NTFS disk using the windows installed in the FAT32 how can this be possible?
Isn't this a security issue?

But if you want you can convert the FAT32 drive by going into the command prompt and switch over to drive c: (type in c:) and then type

convert c: /f:ntfs

and it'll convert it to ntfs. i swear my xp runs faster now.

Windows Xp is built on win 2k technology which was built on Nt4 technology. Unless you plan on dual booting from the same Hard drive you need to use ntfs instead of fat 32 xp likes it better and you will notice it run smoother and some faster. Enjoy.
