you have to reformat. you can convert fat32 to ntfs but not the other way. sorry.

Why do you want to convert back. NTFS is far superior to FAT32 expecially in WINXP where tou have multiple users, it keeps your files and documents safe when your the administrator where as with FAT32 it dosen't, besides after converting to NTFS there's no going back as far as I know that's easy.

You can go back to Fat 32 from NTFS!
Goto bootdisk.com and download Win98 Se bootdisk. Delete non ms partition using a:fdisk create primary partition and format c:
Then rock and roll!

you can convert from FAT32 to NTFS using the winXP NTFS converter. your data will be intact.
