The two utilities can't be defined or compared that way, since one utility often catches something the other misses. 8-)

Also, Spybot and AdAware complements each other in finding spywares.

Hi, They are two different utilities for different things the way I understand it.. Their are a heap more as well that cant hrt to be run while your at it. Regscrub XP,CW Shredder and ccleaner(crap cleaner<<<thats its real name BTW)Just to name a few..Im sure others will be quoted. Oz

I find that both are real good utilities.. I mainly use adaware. But also have spybot installed..
Adaware scans once a week and spybot once a month.. or as needed..
Use them both.
