Comment:

I upgraded my OS from Win2K Pro to XP/SP3. (Xtremely Poor) No problems with Win2K! I did a clean install, loaded other programs, and no program will hold its config settings, including Word and Outlook Express. I ran a RAM beta from Microsoft for 24 hours with ne errors.

I installed Paint Shop Pro 4, then installed the PSP upgrade to 4.1.2 and there are no features from the 4.1.2 upgrade!!!

I've been working with computers since "85" but this one's got me stumped! Any help would be greatly appreciated.

PS The only thing that keeps its settings is the logon for two people!

Katelynn7, SWAG, take a look at your security settings. M$ in it's 'big bro' zeal often resets to 'high' in updates.
Anything higher than 'med' can make your firewall go crazy and do all sorts of neat things. Meddlers, well intentioned, but - gotta love 'em.
HTH.
