Hello,
When i open notepad.exe it Refuses to open, 2 weeks ago i accidently clicked on a
site, when it opened it messed up my winamp..i checked winamp it had a file in there named selfexec..common sense its a exploit....so i deleted that and whenever i try opening notepad or any text file in processess i see a file named f---.exe pop up when i try opening notepad.exe..i don't know what to do..i've used Norton Anti-virus 2004, Mcafee 8.0..ad-aware, spybot...did it all...it did not find anything....if you can help i'd appreciate it..i do not have time or money to reformat my pc thanks (oh yeah..i can open text files on my desktop..no where else)

Note sure how to reinstall your notpade, But, what happenes if you right klik on your deskt p and select New>>>Text Document, then double klik on the desktop item???
if it opens from that im thinking your notpad is still installed just not readily accesable...someone else may have more help on this..

no, you got it mixed...i can open files on my desktop that are notepad...but when i try opening configuring files for mirc...or unreal tournament a program pops up in task manager "f---.exe" and prevents me from opening it...i wanna know how to terminate that proccess forever so i can open the files again..without reformating

Ahhhhhhhhh.
start >>>>run >>>>>Type "msconfig" >>>>enter.
Go to the startup tab and look for the offending program and dissable it >>>>ok >>>reboot
you will get a popup message on reboot klik yes or watever it askes and all should be fine..

Did you do a search for any text or file ect that has f.....exe and delete it (or watever you said it was)??

deleted it..comes back when opening..notepad..

Found: C:\Program Files\Winamp\Skins\selfexec.wsz->/exploit.htm->(SCRIPT0000) - JS/Iwill.gen * - > Infected (I Deleted This) and it still runs....as F*ck.exe whenever i open a notepad....help me!- DaRkLoRd

and i found the file F*ck.exe on C:\

.... C:\F*ck.exe
..... I delete this...and whenever i run notepad it comes back...please help!- DaRkLoRd
