not recognizing memory card reader

my pc came with a six in one memory card reader. since yesterday, when ever i insert a CF card in the usual prompt doesn't appear. also, when ever i go to 'my computer' none of the memory card reader drives are listed. it's like my pc isn't recognizing it at all. anyone have any solutions? thankyou

go to control panel, system, hardware, then device manager. make sure your memory card reader is listed and Active. You may need to reinstall drivers, which came with computer. You can also check in your BIOS to make sure they are On. Did you change anything on your computer recently?
