Not enough space on CDR

Im trying to copy 400 MB of files to a BLANK 700mb CDR. It keep telling me thers not enough space on my CD. I tried several different kinds of blank CDRs but I keep getting the same answer. Can someone help. Thanks

check your settings on the burning software and make sure they are correct!
also make sure there are not other files waiting to be burned in the burning folder also!
