Not Enough Disk Space?

July 7, 2010 at 14:57:28
Specs: Windows XP
A few days ago, my computer started showing me a message that said there isn't enough disk space, when there is. I know there is because the day before I deleted unwanted files, games, etc.

So I moved most of my files onto flashdrives and it said that I had more than half of my disk space left. But later that day, after no downloading, saving, etc was done, it said I had 0GB left. I had moved more files, and it would say I have disk space, but then a few hours later, it would say I have 0 agian.

I would do this various times and the same thing is repetivily happening. I have no idea what is going on, no one I ask to take a look does either.

Please help.

bring up explorer and search.
set context to c: or whatever your os drive is
seach on *.* [which is everything] with subfolders checked
now click on the date field to sort by date.

Look at what is listed for today and yesterday.
Note the folders they are in
Note what program is associated with that folder
