Hi, I recently reinstalled windows and Norton Antivirus. Everything was working fine and I could browse and open yahoo mail. For the past two days I am not able to open any page related to yahoo(mail, yahoo answers and messenger). I disabled the antivirus, scanned the system and tried opening it using opera too. What do you think is the problem. Since our entire family uses Yahoo, its become a big problem. My brother who uses a laptop, is able to open yahoo. Help!

How are you connecting to the internet? Have you tried flushing DNS?
Open a Command window and type:
ipconfig /flushdns
Then see if you can connect to Yahoo.

I think I found the answer to the problem. Atleast half of the solution. The yahoo mail software is missing in my system! It is usually around 26MB. I searched it in the Add or Remove Programs list and it is not there. Now I want to know where to download or install it from.

You don't need to have that installed to access Yahoo email.
