I created a new user account with administrator access. When I tried to create a password for that account, it said that: "Windows could not change the password". Also when attempting to use the 'new account', there is a message which says, "Windows could not find the related file". Any ideas as to how I might overcome this minor glitch? Lessons learnt the hard way are not easily forgotten.

Try booting into safe mode and login as the administrator and try change passwords from there. Grusomhat
