Which version are you using? I'm running 2002 AV without any problems. I believe there are a few versions that don't work with XP. 2000 is one of them.

Hi,

I work in a computerstore and I know that ONLY the version 2002 workt with windows XP. I did know an other Virusscan Inoculate PE and this also doesn't work on it. 2001 you can install but the monitor can't be active. Some different system I guess. I have a lot off problems if wan't to execute windows commands from visual basic. I works perfect at 98, me but not in XP. Example: shutdown the computer, only logoff is working :-(. Greetz!

I had the same problem with Norton 2001 not running once I installed XP. There is a patch you can download that will get Norton to work with XP. If you are running Norton 2001 just follow the directions on this site and it should work for you.

This is what you have to do, once you have installed XP, you need to COMPLETELY uninstall NORTON (There is an uninstall tool on the symantec website) and then reinstall, and yes 2002 IS the ONLY version that will run on XP.

Hope this helps
