Hi Yesterday I deleted files to the Norton Protected Recycle Bin. I then emptied the Recycle Bin by right clicking and deleting and then right clicked again to select Empty Norton Protected Files. I need to recover these files and already selected the unerase wizard which provided a list of files so i selected all and pressed recover, but 0 files were recovered. Is there another solution? Could I use the Windows System Restore to backdate the change by 24 hours? If so, how do i do this? thanks Danny123

Danny123, there's delete and there's DELETE. A regular delete is recoverable so long as you haven't overwritten the data. An irrevocable delete is just that, irrevocable. Data irrevocably deleted is expunged and no longer there so restore won't help. Sorry. HTH. Ed in Texas.
