Hi friends,

I am sorry for posting an irrelevant topic under this category. I was desparate to get an answer for it and hence I took the chance.

I just have a basic question on NIS. Does the Ad-blocker component in NIS also block spyware and kill any existing spyware / scumware?

Thanks and Regards
Gautam

no all nis does is monitor connections, yes it will block any adware or spyware, but wont delete it. If you accidentally allow the connection for spyware it has free access to the net

go to lavasoft.com and download the free adware remover that seems to work alright for both adware and spyware
