I am trying to use Norton Ghost 2003 to copy my files from my 40gig "C" drive to my 160gig "F" drive however when I choose the cloning option it is not showing my "F" drive as a destinantion. Can someone please help me solve this problem of NOrton not recognizing my "F" drive.
My "C" drive is my master and my "F" drive is the slave.
Thanks in advance to all who read and/or took the time to respond to my post.

Does your hardware, BIOS and OS support 48 Bit LBA mode working?
As it is a 160 GB hard drive it is bigger in size than is allowed by the old ATA protocol which limits hard drive capacities to a maximum of 137 GB.
To get over this limit your need hardware capable of supporting 48 bit LBA (either your motherboard and BIOS or an add-on ide controller such as the promise ultra100tx2). You also need the OS to be capable of supporting 48 Bit LBA mode working. Win XP gold does not. However, Win XP SP1, Win 2K SP3 and Win 2003 Server does.
Assuming that your hardware and OS does support 48 Bit LBA working then the next question is does Norton Ghost 2003?
The answer to this question can be found here. The answer seems to be that it does so long as your hardware and OS supports 48 Bit LBA.To learn more about large hard drive capacities exceeding 137 GB go to my website (Homepage link) and look up the section titled "Working with Large sized Hard Drives, especially 127 GB or bigger".
Check and make sure that you have everything in place to support hard drives larger than 137 GB as it is possible that this MAY be your problem.
