strange problem just started i can load the first page of ebay but that about it all other web pages are fine and ebay works fine if i turn off norton but cant find any setting to fix this

i know of one setting that will fix it, it's in 'add and remove programs'. norton internet security is such a hassle that i'd rather have a trojan.

You wil have to go into all the applications and figure our which one is needed by EBay and set Norton to allow it. I do aggree with Tony about Norton. Jetico and Comodo are both free and offer better protection. The best defense is for you to spend a one time purchase of $30-40 for a router with a hardware firewall.
