I have this problem, I have fixed it before but forgot how to do it. Whenever I go into Norton Systemworks it says autoprotect is disabled so I enable it. When I go back to it, it is disabled again. I went into options and clicked auto protect on startup and always. That still didnt work. So what I can remember is there is a window somewhere that says disable and enable auto protect so I enabled it and it works. Anyone know where this is located? I have look all around Systemworks and Norton and cant find it. Please help!! Thanks a lot!!

Have you checked the Symantec LiveUpdate icon in the control panel to see what the settings are?

Click on options NSW and NAV. In NSW options make sure NAV auto-protect is checked, same in NAV options. Hope this helps.
