I use NAV 03 and my son uses AVG 6. We are both satisfied with our choices. Is there a reason you are not happy with AVG?

Feelings are okay but the fact is, AVG does not match up to Norton's AntiVirus program.

And remember the maxim "you get what you pay for".

i'm happy with avg but nortons a top brand and you tend to think that it should be better than a free one.

I've been a NAV user for many years and have never noticed any slow down of my system. It seemlessly scans email coming in and going out. And cleans up any files that I've downloaded that contained virus' Cool software. I'd recommend it wholeheartedly.
