Norton Anitvirus Wont Uninstall

OK My norton messed up and i have Norton Antivirus 2003 Professional Edition some reason it wont uninstall it says this error when i try to unistall it. Error 1606/ Could not access network location
Documents and Settings\All Users\Desktop

Someone plz help me

Did you disable the "Autostart with Windows" option in NAV2003 and reboot before you attempted to uninstall?
