i downloaded a trial version of norton 2006 and then i went to uninstall it now i want to reinstall it and i says that i havent uninstalled correctly. i used add remove programs and its telling me to do i again. now when i click the remove button in addremove programs it says the file is already removed. help

Norton is Norton - the nororious software of them all particularly when you try to uninstall it. You may need to purge your registry of all traces of Norton before you reinstall the demo version. Be aware that the reinstallation of the same demo software may not work once the installer find out that you have used it before. Norton is known to plant a hard to find file that tips off the installer.
