CPU/Ram: p4 2 ghz/ 1gigram

well.. i formatted my hd not so long ago
and i dunno why.. but no1 can connect to my ftp server
and no1 can connect to me in dcc chat nor can i send or receive any dcc file sends.. ???
is there a windows firewall in sp1 ????

Yes there is. But the SP2 firewall allows you to give programs permission to pass through the firewall.

Could also be a router firewall issue. In which case, you'll need to forward the specific TCP or UDP port numbers to you machines IP address.

To find the IP address of your local machine:
WIN KEY + R
type CMD hit ENTER
type IPCONFIG hit ENTER

yes i do have a linksys router... come to think of it... i dont remember trying ftp after i got the router
holy crap lol... so how do i ummm... fix this ???
