no wireless adapter shown/ sound ca

Specs: Windows XP, 1700 ghz / 1gb ram
hi, i recently reinstalled windows xp with sp2, its a medion laptop, and i have a built in wireless adapter, but the wireless connection aint showing in network connection, and theres no wireless adapter shown in system manager.
also there is no sound card shown but i had sound befor i reinstalled windows, please can any1 help

did you use the origional restore CD's?

nah mate, i formatted the hard drive and i made a clean installation of windows xp pro

are there any red ! in the device manager? Sounds like you are missing the driver

yes a few under OTHER DEVICES

NETWORK CONTROLLER
PCI DEVICE
VIDEO CONTROLLER
VIDEO CONTROLLER (vga controller)

but when i go to install drivers, it says it cant find it, n the laptop doesnt tell me wat the hardware type/make is, so i cant download drivers manually and windows update doesnt found the drivers

did you try the site I gave you for the drivers?
You can download everest and it should help find your drivers:

You can't install what you don't have. You need to download the drivers 1st from the Medion site which XpUser4Real posted in response #4. We can't hook you up with the correct drivers becuase you didn't bother to list the model of your laptop.
