On a new computer build, I configured the network and all worked smoothly. The next day, I lost the WAN. The computer can see the LAN and ping other computers but will not connect the internet. What could be the problem.

Are you using a router? What kind? Wireless or not?

What do you get when you go to the command prompt and type ipconfig /release (space before slash) and ipconfig /renew? I'm particularly interested in the answer to renew.
