Upon trying to sort feedback problem on mic I notice that in START - PROGRAMS - ACCESSORIES - ENTERTAINMENT - I have no VOLUME CONTROL !!

I have no volume control in this folder (also noticed I have no calculator or paint - looks like last registry clean was a bit too thorough)

Any ideas on to get volume control back ?

Cheers

Saint

Go to Control Panel > Sound and Audio Devises. There you will see a check box that says, "Place Volume Icon in the Task bar". Tick it and click OK

I am assuming that as this is in the Windows XP forum that you are in fact using Windows XP. P4 is not an Operating System, its a CPU.

Saint, Go to the link below and download the AccRestore 2.0 zip file. Unzip it and run it. it should correct your problem as it has for many others.
