No Thumbnails

I can't seem to get my thumbnails to appear for video files. Any suggestions?
I had that problem with XPrpo then i got a legal version and have them:) is yours legal?

Mine is legal and my computer is brand new. I had reformatted and only folders on my slave drive would not show thumbnails. The only thing I did differently on that drive was disable System Restore.
