hi i turn on my computer and just see a screen when says: start windows normally or safe mode etc.... but no one works i created the boot ini with fixboot and fixmbr but still does not work, what can i do? i need my information in there so then i reinstall XP
To make it very simple, I would burn a puppy linux boot disk. From there you can manually copy over all your files. Or you could use a program such as Macrium or Todo on a boot disk to do an actual backup. The former method is more flexible.
thank u paul1149 but what drive can i copy these? the usb ports does not work bc my computer does not start
Burn Puppy to a CD. Boot from the CD. The USB ports will work under Puppy, and you can save your data to a USB stick.
