Is it only that DVD that doesn't have sound? Do Windows sounds work?

windows has sound and when you put cd also has sound but when you put in dvd has no sound

bails, since you have it on CDs, possible the drive can't read DVDs? Think the formats differ?

bails, is your drive a CD/DVD drive or simply CD? They make both. As far as I know, you can't alter the disc itself. You must have the proper drive.
