I have installed the chipset driver for the motherboard and the SoundMax audio driver for my Dell Dimension 4500s computer but I am still unable to hear any sound. Device Manager shows the audio is working correctly but I cannot receive any sound. Can anyone out there tell me how to correct this issue?
Only one driver listed for Dell Dimension 4500S ADI 198x intergrated.

Are you sure the speakers are plugged into the right jack? Are they powered? Most sound adapters need powered speakers. Do you see your sound adapter in the Control Panel > Sounds and Audio Devices > Audio tab?
