Hi. I ran a "system recovery" and now There is no sound. I reloaded the onboard driver (realtek ac97) with no success. Then disabled the onboard sound and installed a Creative Soundblaster PCI512 SC & driver. In device manager "device is working properly", yet in Sound Blaster Audio HQ " no mixer device is loaded. Will exit now." In SB Sound Recorder " SB cannot record/play because no sound device is installed." I have been to Windows and HP troubleshooter sites. Was a waste of time. I'de appreciate ANY suggestions or advice. Thanks in advance, griffer
