Go to the Biostar website, find your motherboard on their products list, download the driver, then install it.

Do you know the sound card? If not try install Everest or SANDRA Lite (http://www.filehippo.com/software/benchmark/) and do diagnostics for the sound card if motherboard-based. Then download appropritate sound driver from manufacturer.

Also check out sound setting. Simply Select Microsoft default. (Start > Settings > Control Panel > Sounds & Audio Devices > TAB: AUDIO > Default Device = select your sound card. { Note: INSTALL THE SOUND DRIVER BEFORE GOING TO SET DEVICE SETTINGS).

Post your experience.

For people who have driver problems, i strongly suggest you download & install driver genius. What this program does is it makes a back-up of all your drivers & compresses them as one exe file. You can update your drivers with it. It also downloads missing drivers for you so you dont have to hassle with identifying your hardware & stuff. Try it, make up your own mind.

What greater betrayal is there, to give pain where you owe love.
