A process named ashDisp.exe stops my computer from shuting down or going to sleep.Task manager comes up and I have to wait for ashDisp.exe to finish and then click 'end task'. Then it takes a few seconds and the machine shuts down. Have run CkDsk,Defragged, and tried unchecking it in MSConfig, but it is protected. It is a Avast Anti-virus service GUI component. I have re-installed Avast and it worked ok twice. Then started again. Anybody have a clue or suggestion? Thanks W2
