When my computer boots up I I only get the cursor. I do not see the start menu, icons, or the wallpaper. No error messeges come up. It is like it boots fine but I can't see the dekstop. Any suggestions?

Do you use Disk Keeper? If so run windows in safe mode and then run "msconfig" and go to the "startup" tab and click off "DkService".
