I am having trouble when I hibernate for more than 3-4 hours, I can't connect to the internet. After I reboot I can connect to the internet. If I hibernate it for an hour or so I can connect fine. I show to have a connection and I have full connection to all other devices on my home network. I have sprint dsl and running and WRT54G router. What settings am I missing?
It may be that the nic isn't returning to normal state or for that matter any part of the OS/driver. It could be that your ISP/isp software logs you out/locks up depending on how you access your account. This could happen if use your computer to store the logon account and password. If your router log's on then I'd consider looking at the event logs to see what is causing this.

Have you tried opening up the Network Connections in the Control Panel, right-clicking the particiular LAN icon, and choosing Repair?
You might also try disabling the connection before hibernate and re-enabling it afterward.
My final thought is to Assign a static IP address to your computer. You might need to tweak the DHCP address pool settings on your router if you do this.
