No hard drive

Help!
I very foolishly appear to have wiped the hard drive of my Fujitsu/Siemens Amilo lap top. I have inserted the recovery disk, but it states "setup did not find any hard disk drives"
I am pretty computer illiterate. What can I do??

What did you do ?

Do you know how to get into your BIOS ?

(Usually by pressing Del at boot up)

Is the HD presnt there ?
