No Folder Names Under My Pictures

I seem to have lost the names that are under the folders in 'My Pictures'(filmstrip view)when I am in 'Explorer', but are there when I select 'My Pictures' that are on my desktop as a shortcut. When I select the individual folders with the pictures in explorer, the names for each picture are there, just the main folder name missing. I would appreciate any ideas. Bruce
