Good Morning to All. I have been presented with a problem that I can not resolve. It centers around the program software Yahoo Messenger with voice chat. this program is currently loaded on my wife's laptop and she is addited to it. Now some one has managed to tamper with the software and cause this problem, she has lost the voice and the "ears" of the service. The software has been removed and installed countless times, I have restored the laptop back to a point before the problem started with no luck, I have deactvated all fire walls that I know about and have check and rechecked the wirelrss network in my home,I have even contacted the Cable company that gets me onto the web for as much help from them as possible. It appears that the problem is either the software or the Yahoo servce, who has no tech support for the servce because it's free. Can any one help on this one. Helping will bring back domestic harmony. Thank you. Chuck Wisher-ChasMWish@CS.com

Do you have any other sound on the computer? Perhaps reinstalling your sound drivers.
