I noticed this morning that my GeForce MX440 video card was not working. I went into Device Manager to change the adaptor but there was no Display Adaptor showing on the list. I tried adding via hardware wizard and reinstalling the drivers but nothing changed. I then went to the advanced settings for the display and there was no option to change the adaptor. I then had the stupid idea of disabling the current display adaptor which was a VGa plug and play in the hope of XP finding the Video Card on the next reboot. It did not however and I cannot display anything after the startup and Windows XP Home Starting Logo. Can anyone advise how I can enable this device again? I cannot seem to boot up in Safe Mode either.
