recommended a tool to do this but nothing worked.I have tried to connect cable that comes from the broadband service also and it does not work aether ,one thing I have notice is that I
don't have the DHCP Client and DNS client on
the services list.Is there a way to reinstall all of this

M$ doesn't have, sell, or market such "lite version" unless you happen to be in Thailand where counterfeit software is commonly bought & sold in the open marketplace.

a 'lite' version of XP?
that's what struck me first when you said that there's no DHCP client service, since this service is part of any regular XP flavor.
i suggest that you're going to 'nLite' your installation disk again and get it right this time.
however, as a workaround you may assign the TCP/IP details manually. assign an address outside your router's defined IP Pool.
exammple
let's say your router's IP address is 192.168.1.1 (subnet 255.255.255.0) and the IP pool starts at 30 then use the following for your TCP/IP properties:
ip address: 192.168.1.20
subnet mask: 255.255.255.0
def. gateway: 192.168.1.1preferred DNS server: 192.168.1.1

good morning, XPuser ... got your coffee???
you shouldn't condemn 'customized' XP installations as counterfeit products per se :)

Good afternoon/evening back to you.
Alright I guess I should go make myself fresh but a bit stronger coffee :-)

as a matter of fact i'm dealing with a heavily modified XP as we speak, trying to get something suitable for the Eee PC, where space is really an issue ... the 4 GB solid state disc ain't exactly a biggy :)
just saw on a japanese website that one of their biggest retailers will offer the EEE PC (official sales start in Japan 25th of Jan) with XP as the default installation. not only do the poor lads have to pay 70 dollar more (windows tax i presume :) they will also suffer from a great lack of functionality compared the Xandros Easy Mode default installation. if this is going to be a regular xp home (and i haven't heard of a special XP version for UMPCs by Microsoft as of yet, except some vague announcements) there are a lot of shortcomings ... low disk space being only one of many. another big issue is to tame the ferocious swapping behavior of XP which will kill the SSD in no time.

Thanks Everyone !
I had to Reinstall the full version of xp
and know am able to see the DHCP Client
and the wireless adapter and the wired connection
works fine now.Thanks a lot .
this was a version of xp made with nLite.
