Specs: Windows XP
My computer will not boot normally as of today. When turned on there are 5 repitions of 10 clicks followed by a pause between each 10 clicks. Then on a black screen the followig appear:

Intel UNDI, PXE-2.1 (build 084)
Copyright (c) 1997-2000 Intel Corporation
For Realtek RTL8139 (x) /8130/810x PCI Fast Ethernet Controller v2.16 (041224)

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting PXE Rom.
No bootable device--insert boot disk and press any key.

This is an Emachines desktop PC, Intel. T3508.
If you could give me some guidance it would really be appreciated. I am afraid that the hard drive may have gone out but not sure since the PC is only 6 years. A little old but not too bad.

You have a boot problem. Either the disk is not being detected or the BIOS boot order is in error. PXE refer to an attempt to boot from a network server.
