When I turn on my computer sometimes freezes or has a blinking white line _ like that. Or it goes through the screen that says windows xp and a blue line saying it's loading then turns to a black screen that says... BTW I noticed Expert Exchange may have some blocker installed in place. If you revisit the same page twice without restarting the computer, you will not see the solution.

looking at your message i dont see anything related to the hard drive. You might go into bios and see if your hard drive is listed. If you cannot get into bios I would check that the power cable to the hard drive and the ribbon cable is secure on both mobo and hard drive. Possibly replacing the ribbon cable. i've had some weird things happen when the ribbon goes fubar.
