I am getting no sound from my pc speakers. Tryed to install Audio drivers from ASUS site but get a failed! message saying: The audio driver files do not support your computer hardware. If this helps I have an ASUS K8V SE Deluxe mobo.
you want the ad1980 audio driver for windows xp. download it to your desktop.
press the windows logo key and pause/break key at same time ...in the new window select hardware > device manager > then open the "sound, video and games controller and click on the sound/audio drivers and then select driver tab and choose to uninstall the drivers. then reboot and windows will find new hardware and when it asks for the location of the drivers point it to the desktop/ad1980 file that you downloaded .
