Is your audio device listed in device manager?

I'm guessing, and this is just a guess. That your drivers are RelTek audio?.. If so, go here: http://www.realtek.com/downloads/do... and download whatever file matches your system (in this case Windows XP and make sure to download the one that says "executable file"). I could be wrong again, but by no audio device, do you mean it says "there is no active mixer devices available?".

Once when I had "No audio output device..." problem I had found a suggestion at www.noaudiooutput.com website that worked for me. Visit the site and read carefully all suggestions as there are several suggestions given depending on different causes so maybe they have a suggestion that work for you too.
