I was having problems being able to burn wma files. When I first received my computer, i ripped my cds to my computer so that i would be able to copy my own cds. When I burned the songs to a blank cd it worked fine. Recently I have been trying to do the same thing using windows media player, it will just start burning by say "inspecting" then it would stop. When trying to burn the cd using Music Match it would say that i don't have access to burn wma files. I don't know what has changed and why it won't allow me to burn wma files.

you should be able to burn any format of file to your cd burner. you need to do it as a data disk.
i use nero but i recall with ezcd it was possible to burn music files as data files.
the only suggestion would be to convert your music to *.mp3 rather that *.wma files as many of the new audio players support mp3 format.

Some WMA files are now copy/play protected. MS call it 'digital rights management'. If you don't have the necessary license written by Windows onto your PC when the files are made, you will not be able to play these files.
Stick to .mp3!
As for what you can do with your already saved files......????? I don't know if you can convert them. I tried a while back and then gave up.
