I have a HDD which has win98 and winXP installed on it. Recently, I added one more HDD and while I could install win98 alright, winXP started giving problems. 2. The entire installation would proceed without any error. But during booting, it hangs just after the scroll bar ends and "Please Wait" screen appears. I formatted the partition and installed again but it hung at exactly the same point. 3. The partitions are shown "Healthy" in winXP of the first HDD. 4. Is it possible to figure out what must be going wrong ?? -

Why are you installing WinXP to a second hard drive, with WinXP installed on the computer already? thats my first question.
