Recently I had the 'Whoa look what I found CLICK HERE' program on my computer, thanks to my eager clicking finger. Didn't download the worm, everything was fine.
My curiosity now has my AIM profile saying 'I can't believe I found %n's Picture here HAHAHA' with a link to yet another seemingly worm program. Asks you to download it repeatedly, renews the message in my profile every time I start AIM up. I can't find any help on the subject.
Might be the same fix, but 'b.exe' isn't involved this time. Housecall didn't bring anything up.
Any ideas?

i tried to download it...but when i clicked to "run" it...a window saying "javasript runtime error" came up. your help would be greatly appreciated!

push ctrl-alt-del and look for a process called "av.exe" - click it and click "end process" or "end task" depending on your version of windows. the navigate to c:\windows and look for that av.exe file - delete it
now go download spybot and update it - then "check for problems" and "fix selected problems" - reboot and change your AIM profile back to normal
Then spread the word to the geniuses with it still in their profile!
disclaimer: i don't guarantee this will work for everyone - you should all have an updated antivirus client and use that as well
