Just noticed that there is a new windows "critical" update: Windows Malicious Software Removal Tool - May 2005 (KB890830)
This particular critical update notes that it will destroy blaster programs. My question about this particular update is:
I have used MRU-Blaster by Javacool Software for several years now and enjoy this program. If I download this particular windows critical update will it prohibit the use of the MRU-Blaster tool?
completely different utilities, MRU Blaster only rids your registry of most recently used sites or (Sites Visited), it is more of a privacy tool, The M.S. tool is to get rid of the blaster worm.

That particular "Critical Update" is repeated each month. It runs once and does nothing unless your PC is infected. It won't even show up in your ADD/Remove list as it doesn't "Instal" anything.
