I formatted and reinstalled today, so I got my hand written XP services disable list out. There is a new service " Installdriver table manager " That I can't find much info on. One site it say it has something to do with I- tunes which I don't use. Just wanted to know if I got it from one of the windows updates and if it's ok to disable. Or if it didn't come from MS where did it come from and how can I remove it. Thanks!

It is part of macrovision (flash) which is required on some sites in order to see the website content.

Normally safe and required..

Quick Time has all sorts of little "extras" bundled with it that I certainly don't want. That's why I don't use it.

Think it's a good move to delete IDriverT folder from the services part of the registry?
